Philanthropic Advisory Council Meeting

The Philanthropic Programs Advisory Council met on May 28, 2014.  Annual reports were presented by our program chairmen, the Dental Center staff, and Pomona School District staff.    The Operation School Bell® Chairman reported they provided clothing, hygiene kits, books and bears to 883 children in 320 families.  The Dental Center staff reported they provided over 1500 treatments to 516 children.  Discussions focused on how to improve and expand services.  In August  Operation School Bell  committee members will attend a trade show in Las Vegas to meet vendors.  The Dental Center staff brainstormed an equipment “wish list”.

The meeting was chaired by our V.P Resource Development and golf tournament co-chairman who then put on her chefs apron to provide the attendees with a wonderful dinner and desert.
