Assistance League of Pomona Valley held its 19th Valentine Tea/Fundraiser on February 10, 2019 at the historic Ebell Club (Historical Society of Pomona Valley) in Pomona, CA. This event was a resounding success with wonderful food, door prizes, opportunity baskets, mystery bags, bake sale no one could resist and festive fun for everyone. And, most of all, we raised much needed funds to support our philanthropic programs (Children's Dental Center, Operation School Bell®, Community Closet, Books for Kids, Cubs for Kids and Assault Survivor Kits®). For more information on these philanthropies see our website at alpv.org.
We had over 150 guests and volunteers in attendance, including Pomona City Councilmembers Elizabeth Ontiveros-Cole and Rubio Gonzale, who both spoke in support of Assistance League of Pomona Valley and PUSD School Board Member Dr. Roberta Perlman. We want to thank everyone that supported this event. Without your support we would be unable to continue making a positive difference in the lives of children and families in the Pomona Valley.
All those that attended, and those that could not be with us this year, are cordially invited to our 20th Annual Tea and Bake Sale to be held in 2019.
