2020 Great ALPV Scavenger Haunt & Pumpkin Carving Contest
Assistance League® of Pomona Valley’s annual fall fundraiser went virtual for 2020! The Great ALPV Scavenger Haunt was held from 5:00pm on Friday, October 23 until 5:00pm on Sunday, October 25. Teams of up to five people competed to rack up points by completing 58 missions from home and within their neighborhoods using the GooseChase mobile app. Teams were tasked with completing a variety of missions that included, dancing to iconic songs, posing with various Halloween decorations, building pillow & blanket forts, turning a team member into a mummy using toilet paper, recreating famous pictures/posters and thanking essential workers. In addition to the Scavenger Haunt, ALPV hosted a Pumpkin Carving Contest to boost the Halloween fun. There were four judging categories: scariest, funniest, most unique, and best decorated (non-carved). The best pumpkin in each category won a $125 Amazon gift card! Congratulations to our winners:
