Operation School Bell^® January 2016 Delivery

On January 20, 2016 Assistance League of Pomona Valley held its fifth clothing distribution of the 2015-2016 school year. We provided new school clothing and books to over 129 students and our Community Closet provided gently used clothing to many family members. So far this school year we have provided new school clothing and books to over 600 children, and we look forward to serving many more during the balance of the school year.

This year we have been able to significantly expand the range of clothing we provided by including 2 pairs of jeans/leggings and a warm winter coat for each child. This was made possible by grants we received from both the City of Pomona and Southern California Edison. We were able to find wonderful jeans and coats that were received with huge smiles and thanks from both the children and parents. We want to pass those smiles and thanks along to the City of Pomona and Southern California Edison.
