Last Regular Meeting Of 2014-2015 and Installation Of 2015-2016 Elected Officers
Members gathered at Red Hill Country Club on June 2, 2015 for the last regular meeting of 2014-2015 and the 2015-2016 Annual Meeting and Installation Luncheon. At the regular meeting members elected Cathy Harden as our delegate to the National Convention and Jessica Ortega as the alternate.
The Annual Meeting convened at 11:00. Outgoing President Sharon Goodrich gave the 2014-2015 Report on Chapter Activities. She then thanked the 2014-2015 outgoing Board of Directors, Parliamentarian and Appointed Standing Committee Chairman. Sharon presented each with a “drought resistant” plant and a pens inscribed with “assistance league® Pomona Valley”.
Carol Holmes installed the incoming 2015-2016 President, Cathy Harden, and the Board of Directors. The installation Theme included a description of each officer’s characteristics and strengths, coupled with a bottle of wine especially selected by Carol to match those characteristics. After the installation Cathy Harden expressed her appreciation for the support and encouragement the membership has provided.
