Assistance League of Pomona Valley Sponsors Claremont Chamber of Commerce April Breakfast

Assistance League of Pomona Valley sponsored the April Claremont Chamber of Commerce Breakfast on April 14, 2015 with about 100 people from local businesses and organizations in attendance.  Assistance League members Sharon Goodrich, Carol Holmes, Cathy Harden and Roger Krechmery attended.  Carol did a great job of setting up the ALPV display board and placing water bottles with toothbrushes and our literature at each seat. Roger Krechmery prepared a slide show of photos from our Operation School Bell distributions.  The pictures of children with their new clothing and books served as a backdrop for Sharon’s presentation.  She delivered a very moving description of Assistance League’s programs using real life examples of the children we help.   It actually brought tears to many eyes in the room.

There are now many more people who know and appreciate our organization and what we do, and we made mutually beneficial connections with people from several other organizations.   Assistance League of Pomona Valley appreciates the opportunity the Claremont Chamber of Commerce provided  and gives them an A+.
