15th Annual Tea Party and Bake Sale

On October 5th, 2014 a fun-filled Festive Fall Tea Party took place in our Chapter House.  The slideshow of photographs from the event says it best from beginning to end.  Decorations and menu selections fit the season and the Opportunity Baskets were magnificent.  We want to thank everyone that attended and donated to this successful fundraiser, and we look forward to seeing you all (and also those that could not attend this year) at our 16th Annual Tea Party next year.

This fundraiser supports all of Assistance League of Pomona Valley’s programs including:

  • Operation School Bell®   ~ Provides clothing to elementary school children in need, Hygiene Kits containing various toiletries and other personal necessities for each child plus family-sized items like laundry detergent.
  • Dental Center ~ Provides a full range of dental care for children of low-income families without dental insurance.
  • Assault Survivor Kits® ~ In cooperation with Project Sister we provide kits containing needed items for adults and children who are victims of sexual abuse
  • Cubs for Kids ~ provides cuddly teddy bears to local fire and police for distribution to children who are experiencing trauma
