Padua Hills Event Planning in Full Swing

The Community Services Department of Claremont has awarded Assistance League® of Pomona Valley use of the historic Padua Hills Theatre for an upcoming fundraiser. This is an amazing venue where we are planning an elegant night of fun and entertainment to be held on the evening of Thursday September 29, 2016. Please save the date and join us from 5:30-9:30 PM. If you are not familiar with the venue click HERE to see a brief video (wedding orientated) that shows much of the facility.

The event committee, chaired by Sharon Goodrich, held its second planning meeting on February 10th and will tour the site on March 8th. Dale Boatman, President of the California Jazz Arts Society (CalJAS) serves on the committee and is coordinating the event’s musical entertainment. Fabulous food, great wine, must-have opportunity baskets, silent “get-away” auctions, and a few other surprises await guests.

AND, let’s not forget the most important thing; the opportunity to help children!

This fundraiser is part of the strategic plan to expand our Operation School Bell® Program that currently provides school clothing, books and toiletries to over 1,000 low income students each year in the Pomona Valley communities of Claremont, La Verne, Pomona and Diamond Bar.
